One of the biggest initiatives of the Lawson 150 committee is encouraging 150 community service projects to take place in 2021. Projects can range from picking up trash, planting flowers, visiting the elderly to painting benches and other larger scale projects.

While we will be hosting a couple of community-wide service days, anyone can volunteer at any time. To help us track the projects around town, we request that you take a photo of your group and your service project and post to social media with the hashtag #Lawson150projects. You can also send them to Tosha Jackson at tjackson@lawsonmo.gov to be shared on the City’s page. Groups interested in volunteering or hosting larger service project are encouraged to coordinate with the Lawson 150 project coordinator at City Hall.

The Lawson 150 and Lawson Picnic also need volunteers to help plan the various events that will take place during the Lawson Picnic weekend on July 8-11. Please use the email address above or the form to the right to let us know you are interested.
